The Bothell Skate Park Community Group came together for one simple reason: 

bring a skate park back to Bothell.

When the original skate park was removed, a lot of people felt the loss. For years, local skaters, families, and community members have wanted a safe, welcoming place where kids, teens, and adults can ride, connect, and build community again.

Now, we are working to make that happen.

Our goal is to build a high quality skate park with a roof so it can be used all year long, even when the weather is bad.

 The park will welcome skateboards, scooters, BMX bikes, roller skates, rollerblades, and other nonmotorized wheeled activities, including accessible wheeled use for people with disabilities.

 A covered skate park gives young people something positive to do in every season. It creates community. It gives families a place to gather. It helps people stay active and connected.

The new skate park will also honor the legacy of Jim and Rosemary McAuliffe, longtime community champions who believed deeply in supporting youth and creating spaces where people can come together.

We are working to raise awareness and the funding needed to make this vision real. With community support, Bothell can once again have a skate park that people are proud of.
